For lists that don't see regular updates this is great way to MISS them.
Putting these moldy oldies into my aggregator makes sure I'll see that an item
has appeared on one of them.  If I left it up to inbox rules the rare message
would probably get pushed into the archive folder and I'd miss it.

I hear what you're saying, there's just a balance to be struck and, to each his
own.
