That's not quite what I meant. There are numerous commercial sites that
are syndicated with RSS either directly or via scrapers such as
NewsIsFree or Moreover. I use the feeds in exactly the same way. But
"Author" is sometimes a little more complicated with these.
I'm not suggesting that we get into full syndication of their stories
but rather that they are a third type of headline source along with
Weblogs and "Slash" sites. Jeff Barr called RSS for these people as
something like banner advertising as a source of hits.
But even with this, I'm sure we've all got favourite journalists that we
look for on particular sites.
