To answer your questions (even though I would prefer you edit out 
phrases like "relentlessly hammering" -- it's so confrontational and 
even unprofessional, but that's your style I guess).

1. Not aware of any feeds using the module you suggest, do you have 
any pointers. If so we may support it.

2. skipHours, per the spec, is GMT. We're following the spec.

3. The concerns you saw raised were about code that is not yet 
released.

BTW, a question for you. When will Syndic8 stop counting RSS 0.90 
feeds as if they were 1.0 feeds?
