That's true, validation would get hairy, at best.
But, on the other hand, I think it would be better to break a few validators
here and there, they are outnumbered by aggregators and other readers.
Of course, assigning it to a complete new namespace would work well for all,
and aside from one less namespace declaration and the "relatedness" of the
element to the existing module, I see no reason not to use a new namespace -
for the new element only, though.
