Hi,

a status of NewsIsFree [1] in that respect:
- recently added channels (RSS):
  http://www.newsisfree.com/HPE/xml/newchannels.xml

- recently updated channels (RSS):

  http://www.newsisfree.com/HPE/xml/recentupdates.xml

- list of external feeds used by NewsIsFree to grab headlines (OCS)

  This excludes moreover feeds, it's updated once a day (2am CEST)
  http://www.newsisfree.com/HPE/xml/external-feeds.ocs
  It's probably not fully compliant OCS, maby sources are reported
  as RSS .9 but are RSS .91 or .92 or 1.0 or not RSS at all but
  just some custom XML...

- the category structure of NewsIsFree (OPML)

  http://www.newsisfree.com/HPE/xml/categories.opml

 This will be extended to include links to OPML lists of

  NewsIsFree feeds in each category. This will be the only
  global list of NewsIsFree feeds, I do not plan to support
  OCS for this initialy. OCS is "scary"...


In time, the entire http://www.newsisfree.com/HPE/xml/ directory will
include RSS.91 rendering of all news feeds, subscription lists for
all users and support a read only version of the xmlStorageSystem
spec [2]
