I've thought about an element for RSS that would
really up the communication power, and make it a more viral format.
The story goes like this. Look at the left-edges of
most weblogs. You'lll see a list of sites that for one reason or another
the author has chosen to promote. These are intensely watched and intensely
political spaces. We have a lot of fun with them.
Now, what if there were a way to introduce the same
concept to RSS. (Or whatever you want to call it.)
A way to broadcast the existence of other sources
in your source. Let other channels hitch a ride on yours.
The XML design for this would be trivial, and it
would be interesting to do user interface(s) for the feature.
I was wondering what people thought..?
