Another good point made. Such systems should allow for a "web of trust" but
also be flexible enough to support external discovery. Bad to force people
to only discover through "trust" -- what if I don't trust other people's
decisions? I don't have time to review everybody's choices and decide who I
agree and disagree with. I don't even participate in Amazon's "did you find
this review useful?" doohickies because I perceive it as a waste of my time.

BTW, is "web of trust" an eBay or Jakob Nielsen term? can't recall?
