Yes yes I understand.

So do you have an opinon on What Should Be Done If Anything?

You know every one of these things, SOAP, XML-RPC, OPML, RSS, that I'm
involved in has a Serious Problem or two that no one knows how to solve.

In XML-RPC it's -- Can it be used for anything other than HTTP? (No the spec
is very clear.)

In SOAP and XML-RPC it's -- What about <nil>? (Forget it, it would kill
interop.)

In OPML it's -- Why is the text just an attribute? (Long story, all
philosophy and design, but people conclude it's a limit in our outliner or
XML parser).

In RSS it's -- How to get the text to conform to the vision of the Netscape
people, that news items could be structured in the way they wished it would.

BTW, please if you want to debate non-RSS issues, please use the approprate
fora, where you will be met with Loud Groans.
