In addition to what DanBri said, I helped build RSS 1.0, because, believe it
or not, I like RSS and the wide community of people and tools that support
it. If I wanted to go off and create an RDF syndication format, I probably
would have come up with something more like PRISM. But I didn't -- I wanted
to extend RSS.
