I'll plead stupidity as I clearly haven't been paying attention.
Your XML button is linked to the RSS file, so right click copy shortcut
works fine.
But
On a Manila site, this displays the XML source if you click through. On
other servers, this probably isn't the case. You said that if you use
the button, you should always do this, but I can't without producing an
HTML rendering of the XML in which case the button no longer points to
the right file.
Can I suggest that you relax your rule slightly, and just say that the
button should always point at the RSS file?
It would be neat to introduce a little viral marketing. I'm thinking of
a two piece button:-
XML
Radio Userland
with a client side map to split it in two.
