Our WireHose demo <http://www.wirehose.com> has a search box. It also lets
you specify keywords to further narrow a topic. (Most of our prebuilt topics
combine multiple RSS feeds.) You can also build your own aggregated topics
and narrow them by keywords (the "Microsoft Spotlight" topic is an example
of this).
A future version (no release date yet) will also let you (or an editor) make
topics that consist only of keywords. (As well as a bunch of other new
features, like re-distribution of your personalized news page as RSS, a
bookmarkable resource directory, etc. But who cares about vapor? :-)
Right now nearly everything in the demo site is from Moreover and
iSyndicate. I keep meaning to add more sources but I'm with those who want
some sort of independent ranking system -- we don't have the resources to
determine what's good and what's dreck in the thousands of available
feeds.....
