I sure hope so. That sentence sounds too much like:
  "It is my ball and we play by my rules".

Anyway, the only problem I have with the changes is that:
  - the simple stuff is not so simple anymore and it is too different.

What I like is:
  - one can do a lot more.

What I would like:
 * the simple stuff (almost) as it was
    - (almost) no changes here;
 * extensibility and RDF functionality 
    - no problem with the added complexity for these uses.

Currently the "(almost)" is too big.
