I  think another advantage is that RDF can say anything about anything
and gets us to the point where other computer systems will understand
what is being said in the **same terms**.  So somebody tells my system
about some article to read, the RDF in the syndication notice will
allow me to retrieve that article in a context that makes sense to me.

need for RDF from other than a computerease perspective.
