In new forrester research, Dan O'Brien defines what he
calls "hypersyndication" as:
"the customized bundling of content and products and applications for
defined audiences."
The report is called "Content Hypersyndication," and O'Brien sounds
like a good advocate for the open syndication model: "tradition-
bound publishers and broadcasters, accustomed to controlling access
and distribution of the material they produce, face a whole new
matrix on the Internet. And the notion of holding their content close
to their chests in an effort to protect their interests, he
suggested, is an idea becoming as outmoded as the telegraph."
