I also got a message and am taking down. I was creating my feeds using gnews2ss.php. Looking on the bright side, maybe this activity is a sign that Google is about to do something useful. (Google guys, can you confirm off line/off the record? ;-)
Please email back to them and ask that they produce RSS/Atom[1] output from Google News. news-feedback@google.com That goes for everyone else here as well.
