Too late. I think with the current scenario, we'll want to know *before* we collect it. Expecting 10Kb of RSS and getting 10Mb of an entire organization's foaf can ruin a spider's day.

And RSS1.0 (and actually quite a lot of RDF) has never been very good at identifying itself beyond saying "It's rdf". Nature of the beast I guess.

The key here is that we all agree and understand the new types. The current mishmash of mime types really doesn't help.
