Lies, damned lies and statistics, as Mark Twain used to say.

There's more to the weblogging world than blogger/blogspot.  LiveJournal's got a
bajillion subscribers.  Now, arguing content value over content quantity might
be a differentiating factor.  One fraught with perl.

Define 'deal with'.  It's the minority of weblogging TOOLS that don't understand
or support RSS.  This number narrows quite rapidly once the developers see how
easy it is to make an RSS feed.  That tools like Blogger make RSS an option is
true.  That the option is 'held hostage' behind a paying support contract is
usually the reason.
