What a useful, informative list this is! Full of incorrect assertions,
personal insults and outright lies.

As a Radio user who wanted to make a very simple modification to the RSS
output, and found I would have to delve into the innards of the program, I
would have to say that the simple answer is:

No, there is no templating support for RSS in Radio.

Radio is both powerful and easy to use, and its output is largely
user-modifiable. But for Dave to claim that learning a proprietary coding
language in order to implement call-back hooks is the same as having a
"general templating capability" for RSS, seems like deliberate obfuscation
done to make a cheap debating point.

The Kearney/Winer love-fest has been going on for a long time and can be
quite entertaining, but it is a great disservice to those use syndication
technology and who seek real, unbiased information.

I'm currently looking for a substitute for Radio (I need a
shared-server-based solution for a client's site) but despair of ever seeing
unbiased comparisons. It's almost as bad as the Apple/MS/Linux wars.

I would appeal to everyone to tone down their inflammatory language, stop
the pointless ad-hominems, and let the facts speak for themselves.

You're wrong, no you're wrong. Grow up guys.

n.b. I've always wondered: why don't people use standard listserver quoting
etiquette on this list? It's very hard to read threads when responses are
put at the top.
