Strange pubDates in Dave Wiener's scripting news and others

Hello,

 1.

i've just been reported by a few bug reports telling that
there's something wrong with the pubdate in Dave Wiener's's
 Scripting News (http://www.scripting.com/rss.xml).

i've taken a look at it and found:

_skipped_

but the rest of pubdates are something like that:

in other words, it's a date in rfc-822

 2. Another news feed gives me pubdates as:

 but as described here http://www.w3.org/TR/1998/NOTE-datetime-19980827
there should be a "T" character between date and time. It's very
easy to fix this problem though ;)

What's wrong? Is it my stupidity? Please advice. Is there some
 date standarts in RSS?
