Well, I'd consider myself more of a user than developer in relation to
RSS, but I agree with the 'rushed' that others have mentioned. It
doesn't surprise me, it's the Dave way, he likes to move on things,
and quickly.

But I'd rather see a group from the community (including Dave, if he
can work with others) define things, based on what the community
wants/needs, rather than a single group or vendor...
