Hi all,
I know this is not what you are looking for but I have a very early 
version of an IE Explorer Bar RSS aggragator. It works similar to the 
one in Userland Radio (client-side).

NewsRoom is at: http://www.activenotes.com. You need to install MSXML 
4 before installing. After you install you can activate it in IE by 
going to View -> Explorer Bar -> NewsRoom. There is also a button on 
the toolbar.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to see if anyone else found it 
promising and ask for your feedback.
