Afternoon all,

I've just implemented Dave Winer's Publish and Subscribe cloud server
idea in a nice single-user Perl version.

Publish and Subscribe, if you don't know, is the idea RSS feed
subscribers register themselves with the Publisher. The Publisher then
issues an xml-rpc call to the subscriber whenever the feed is updated.
Only then does the Subscriber reload the feed.

At the end of the day, this both saves on bandwidth, and ensures all the
Subscribers have the very latest feed.

And see what you think. I don't see why Radio Userland users should have
all the fun...
