I based the design on the yahoogroups calendar and ended up with
- Event name
- Start time
- End time
- Host (organization)
- Venue
- Notes
- URL Link
As the minimum I could get away with. This could be coded up as
title = Host
link = URL
description = everything else.
But you lose quite a bit of potential function in the process.
