"i take my feeds moderated"
i run a site called fyuze [1], which i try to bill it as "a portal
that doesn't suck." some agree, some don't. anyway, it makes heavy
use of RSS for fetching headlines and such.
recently, just minutes ago in fact, i added a feature that i thought
the syndication nuts among us (pressumably most people reading this
list) might find interesting. so what is this great new feature? why,
ratings of course!
basically it works like so: each news item that you see you can rate.
++ = great, -- = terrible. think of it as human powered blogdex [2]
for RSS. with enough people rating, it ought to make it easy to pull
good stories/links out of all the mess.
anyway, give it a try and let me know what you think. i'd love to
hear your thoughts, questions, complaints, etc. once the rating gets
going i hope to do a "highest rated feeds" and "highest rated items"
feeds, etc.
regards,
justin klubnik
