RE: [syndication] Syndic8.com now has 841 feeds available...

Title: Message
Hmm, good idea. The list is not yet available in XML, but it will be -- it is next on
my TODO list. There will be a bunch of variants. First, a plain list in OCS form,
and also in the format used in the Scripting News service list. Then, variants of
the list in two dimensions -- select which rows you want (feeds), and which
columns (various properties). This will all be made user-friendly.

I expect that it will be easy to, for example, create a custom feed which has all
sites entered into the system in the past 7 days which are in category
"Technology/Software" (note that this is an extended field), and to produce that
feed in just about any text output form (XML or otherwise). Or to get a list of
sites that have not changed in 7 days, or whatever.

That's the plan!

It's all URL addressable - let some young cyberpunk write the spider & indexer. Or borrow from OSS somewhere.

Question: Is the feed list available in XML?
If I hit http://www.syndic8.com/feedlist.php with an HTTP Accept header of text/xml will I get XML?

Perhaps a URL of http://www.syndic8.com/feedlist.php?Accept=text/xml would be neat.

Mike
