Well, the problem with browser based systems like Radio Userland and
AmphetaDesk is that you can't determine what someone has read, unless tell
you, like in Radio Userland (by clicking that little checkbox).

I never found that approach very effective - I read about 120 channels
daily, which means about 1000 little checkboxes. What if I read 900 of
them? No one is going to waste their time to check them all.

Another option would be to link monitor - when someone clicks on a link,
keep it in memory so that we know they did. The immediate problem with that
is that for us to do anything with the link, we'd have to *reload* the
browser page (since we can't dynamically change its content any other way).
