Then subscribe to more :-)

Seriously, if you have control of your MTA you could create an address
for your subscriptions, subscribe that address to a bunch of lists,
and set a procmail rule for that address to /dev/null everything but
ANNOUNCE messages, and pass those to a serializer.  Depending on your
pipe and your MTA box you probably wouldn't have too much trouble with
the additional load (assuming your appetites are within reason).
