Alis,

I've implemented it slightly differently, but ASPRSS submits new 
articles from members RSS' (or whole RSS') to Directory sites by 
posting to their form (again, the code is given free to Directories). 
Each Directory site gets passed the data in a simple format, one 
article at a time for them to add to their database, email 
themselves, whatever.

This seemed a far better solution than email-only, because the 
Directory site gets given the data in a standard format with very 
little work on their end. If they don't want to approve articles it 
will be a fully automated process.

I use nSoftware's IPWorks to post to other sites forms.
