While I was off-line and YahooGroups wasn't letting me post from home,
I mailed another participant in the "syndication and i18n" thread
about how """Aggregators are the best point in an "RSS network" to
analyze RSS and notify syndicators that there are errors in their RSS.
A useful element in RSS would be a <bugReportsTo> field for each
channel.""" He replied, "Good point - post that to the list when you
can, please!"
For the RDF flavour of RSS, that means writing a spec on the two
elements and making it available. I'll be working with the RDF folks
to see if we can generalize it for use with any RDF resource
rendition.
For the non-RDF flavour of RSS, the correct place to post proposals
would seemingly be reallySimpleSyndication.

Re. historical differences, most should recall that, given that there
will be two formats, I favor one RSS with two flavours, with the
obvious cross-pollinizations considering they are both, at their core,
the same thing. I wasn't the big, most vocal hard-ass telling people
"my way or no way".
