Sorry to ask again, but when you say "UDDI Server" is this

1. A server that implements some web service and is registered with the
UDDI registries?

2. Or is it a server that uses the UDDI APIs to exercise the UDDI
Registries and perform searches programmatically?

3. Or is it a server that implements the UDDI publishing and inquiry
APIs and therefore implements a UDDI compatible registry?

Or maybe all of the above ;-)

Just to get back on topic, the relevance to syndication may be answering
1. If you provide SOAP access to your news site, say, to create stories,
or retrieve headlines, or you publish an RSS file, it might well be
useful to register with UDDI or some UDDI compatible registry. Always
assuming that UDDI gets sufficient momentum and activity.
