Specifically, Dave W in scripting news, so I guess it's My.Userland.
In my case, I sub to the Moreover "Vertical Portal" category with a
daily email for work research into B2B commerce.

What was confusing me was that IE5 no longer has the channel bar and
doesn't seem to know what to do with an RSS file. The file gets the
channel icon if saved locally, but when clicking on it IE5 comes up but
then nothing happens or gets displayed. Somewhere along the way, MS seem
to have thrown something away.

Headline viewer is the only program I've seen that runs locally and
knows what to do with a channel file. Are there any others?
