I have a list of syndication-related references at:

I'm afraid the term 'syndication' has multiple meanings -- to the
RSS (and many other groups) it refers to syndcation of news headlines,
whereas to others (like me) it refers to more generic syndication of
many different types of data. The project referenced at the preceding
URL is interested in the latter issue, but the aforementioned
reference pages notes most of the news-specific dialects.
