RE: [syndication] Ways of improving distribution of syndication feeds

The things to do when you have a feed:

- Register at http://my.userland.com

- Submit to www.xmltree.com

- Submit to Netscape
(http://my.netscape.com/publish/help/quickstart.html#step_2)

- Tell me (mailto:jeff@vertexdev.com) so that I can consider them for
inclusion in
  Headline Viewer (www.headlineviewer.com).

By the way, I am really interested in getting some sports-related content
and also content in languages other than English, especially Spanish,
French,
German, Italian, or Portugese. If you have some links to RSS please send
them
my way!

feeds

To change the subject from the standards war that's
clearly going to take longer to settle out than our
current election:

I run a web site where I publish a number of RSS
channels which I'd like to get people to start
carrying around the Web. Has anyone got good
promotional strategies for this kind of thing, other
than "list it at Netscape, userland, &c."?
