I basically agree with Dave on this.
I voted, I see that the option I defend (renaming "1.0") is at the
moment ahead, but I still think this should be solved out of good sense
and respect instead of just by numbers.
The fact that there are *many people* or even *some people* interested
on the "simple way" that was the spirit of 0.91, should be enough for
"1.0" to have forked away - even it those *some/many people* are not
a *majority*.
It is a matter of respect, even if towards a minority. It is a matter
of respect even when one can believe that it is a less valuable option.
For myself, I would like to have both choices available in the future,
and renaming "1.0" serves that purpose too.
