First, *you* must come to the realization that we all love the kids,
or at least I do, and you seem to be disinheriting one.

Second, how about a proposal on splitting the house, kids, and bank
accounts? Sole custody without visitation is only an option if the
group chooses to make this a closed list and working group.

What you apparently want is for some people (me included) to not have
as much input or control over the technical aspects of the spec as you
or others do.

That being the case, my proposal is that there be an identified
RSS0.91+ Working Group that guides the improvements of RSS0.91, and I,
for one, will obligingly not accept any nomination to be in that WG.
A simple list of people, of which only their vote counts at the end of
the day, is all that's needed -- no process, no bureaucracy, just
people.

As such, I, like anybody, will still be able to provide useful input,
and yet explictly not have any control over whether or not that input
is used.

It is quite apparent that nearly everyone wants both groups to live
amicably, and even share ideas where appropriate, and let the market
decide which format they want to use.

You don't have to "work with me" directly, no one has to like how I
respond to statements, and all are entitled to their opinion on
whether or not I "get" this stuff. At the same time, if people choose
to continue harassing, FUDing, and making unsubstantiated claims about
either version of RSS and/or the people involved with them, I reserve
the right to continue to respond to it, with facts, reason, and as
much professionalism I can muster following some of the statements.
