For interest's sake, you might want to take a gander at Laird Popkin's
writeup of some experimentation with "RSS-in-ICE"[1] after a discussion[2]
with Dave Winer on [xml-dist-app]. In fact, I created a live version of
Laird's mockup as a Meerkat flavour[3].
