Third draft of a generic syndication markup language

Hi all --

I've more or less finished a draft of the XML syndication language I've
been working on for the past few months, off and on. A link to a rough DTD
is found at:

http://www.java.utoronto.ca/news/langs.html (link at bottom of page)

while the links in the "XML DESIGN" bar link at the top of the page point
to docs that explain the rationale. There's more elsewhere, of course, for
those who are interested.

To remind everyone, The idea was to try and define a minimal XML framework
for syndication that is not biased by the types of data being syndicated.
Thus, the framework is intended as a generic carrier for a variety of
different types of data, including many of the types discussed on occasion
in this list.

I don't have any working code (yet), but hope to put something together
over the next few weeks. In particular I hope to demonstrate how to embed
syndicated Web content and RSS-style data within this model.

Comments, criticism, suggestions and contributions are, as always, greatly
appreciated.

Best --

Ian

PS: Sorry it looks so ugly on NAvigator 4 (tried to get too fancy with
    CSS...)
