Just to confuse everything...

Sorry but I haven't been keeping up with all the discussion, mostly I've
been hearing Dave's side through Scripting News but I haven't looked at
RSS 1.0 yet.
But I just thought I'd let you know how our use of RSS has "evolved" due
to client needs.
An abridged example is below.
We've added a body field (which turns RSS into something it wasn't
really meant to do, but it's what we needed at the time), and added two
attributes to <item>: "id" to specify a unique ID for the stories (so
when people are continually reading the RSS file, they can tell whether
they have seen stories before) and "count" to specify ordering (yeah I
know the tags specify ordering anyway but that's what our customers
wanted).
Any comments? (Apart from the fact that I shouldn't be using the same
DTD?!)
