XML Seminar Announcement
Hello,
I am writing to announce that Treehouse Software, Inc. (TSI) will be hosting
an XML seminar on Thursday, September 7, at the Greentree Holiday Inn in
Pittsburgh, PA from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Highlights from the September 7 seminar will include an introduction to XML,
an inside look at TSI's suite of native XML tools for electronic B2B, and a
presentation by XML expert Jonathan Robie.
B2B solutions from TSI include Tamino, the first native XML database.
Tamino delivers XML with exceptional performance for transaction-oriented
applications within enterprises or on the Web. It can also integrate legacy
data sources (e.g., relational databases, applications, and ADABAS) into XML
documents.
Jonathan, who has been a driving force behind the standardization of XML
technology within the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), has been working with
XML databases and query languages since 1995 and is the developer of XQL.
Most recently, he has been working on a new query language called Quilt,
which he will discuss in detail.
If you are interested in attending this free event, contact a sales
representative at (412) 741-1677. If there is interest in having a seminar
in your area, reply to me directly by e-mail.
