IMHO, categories are not like keywords because :
1) categories imply a structured hierarchy (in the sense that I am using the word), and
suggest a way of navigating resources
2) keywords do not necessarily impart the right meaning - taken as atomic elements, the
semantic meaning is lost. This is why traditional searches based on the non-noise words
(keywords) that spiders and bots pick from web pages are notoriously ineffective.
